Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
The short version: we collect your email address so you can sign in, plus the details we need to manage your membership. Stripe handles your payment details, and we never see your full card number. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
This policy explains what information CFF Data Dawgs (cffdatadawgs.com, "we", "us") collects when you use the site and memberships, and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Your email address, when you create an account or sign in. We use it to send sign-in links and messages about your account and billing.
- Membership details, such as your plan, its status and renewal date, and the customer ID Stripe gives us.
- Payment details, which are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor, not by us. We can see limited information Stripe shares, such as the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry date, along with your payment history.
- Technical information that web servers and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) handle automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
- Cookies and browser storage. A cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores settings like light or dark mode and your scoring format. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Files you load yourself, such as a fantasy roster CSV used on the site, are read in your browser only. They are never uploaded to us.
2. How we use it
- To sign you in and give you the features your plan includes.
- To process payments, renewals and cancellations, and to send receipts and account notices.
- To answer your questions and support requests.
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse, such as account sharing or scraping.
We don't send marketing email from the members site. Our free newsletter is a separate signup on Substack, covered by Substack's privacy policy.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers that help run the Service, and only what they need:
- Stripe, for payments and billing (Stripe's privacy policy);
- Cloudflare, for hosting and security;
- our email delivery provider, to send sign-in links and account emails.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while you have an account. After you close it, we delete it within a reasonable time, except records we need to keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons, such as payment records.
5. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your personal information by emailing cffdatadawgs@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the EU), you may have more rights under local law, and we'll honor them. We'll never treat you differently for using them.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. All traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS), and payment details stay with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, though, so please keep your email account secure, since that's how you sign in.
7. Children
The Service isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email members or post a notice on the site.
